What's Happening...

Harvest time has been complimented by the cold snaps we have had since the new year as the frosts improve the colours of the willow rods which have grown over the last year.I am lucky enough to have access to a rogue willow patch which I can glean some material from whilst communing with the greater natural world as it is situated near a Hornbeam coppice which is managed predominantly with wildlife in mind.I let the withies rest for a good few weeks before using them.

Spring 2022
I've been busy taking part in Brighton's Artists Open Houses exhibiting @coachwerksgallery and running workshops and exhibiting @the_red_door_brighton...so inspiring to be amongst the many talented makers and artists and to be sharing some willow techniques. Also a pleasure to be running workshops @onegardenbrighton too.
Next I'm making for Isfield Fete (5th June) Charleston Designers Fair (18th,19th June) and The Makers Fair (13th,14th August....hope to see you there !
